PhotoSketch

Effet garanti.

Muvbox shipping container restaurant

Many shipping containers in the past have been transformed into houses and now a new concept of transforming shipping container into a restaurant can be seen in Montreal, which is a sign of increasing architectural design trend. Daniel Noiseux, who is the owner of the Pizzaiolle restaurants in Montreal, used the 20- foot-shipping container named Muvbox. The best part of the restaurant is that it can be moved from one location to another. It takes just 15 minutes to open up the complete restaurant. With just a push of a button, the restaurant drums open up in 1.5 minutes.
Green shipping restaurant

The container is powered by a solar panel that generates 40% of the restaurant’s energy and rest comes from propane, which helps to fuel the kitchen appliances. The floor is made from the recycled tires.
The aim of Noiseux is to expand the concept throughout the world so that people can take an inspiration and follow his route.

Klima und Mensch by Atelier Bruckner

Westfälisches Museum is one of the most modern archaeological museums in Europe. “Klima und Mensch” has been the largest exhibitions ever on this subject in Germany. What is climate? Impressive backgrounds composed on staggered panoramas and large-scale murals simultaneously illustrate the development of the weather and the respective environmental conditions. The collage, which is made up of real images, graphics, text and painting, evokes wide-ranging associations.
During the exhibition the visitor experiences the survival strategies of its ancestors. Illustrations with light, sound and projection provide an artificial setting for the acquisition of knowledge.

Design display space for architectural images. Asymptote tried to increase the gallery’s minimal space by adding three-dimensional volumes enhanced by light and sound. The images are exhibited on the surface of large translucent modules, protruding from a backlit panel into the viewer’s space. The result is an illusion of floating images. Each exhibited piece are accompanied by abstract sounds, which adds to the unique atmosphere of each peace of work.

The exhibition was commissioned by the Architectural League of New York end installed at the Urban Center Gallery. It showcases 6 architectural works. The show is conceived as an urban installation. Each of the six projects are displayed by means of a prototypical unit which includes a project identification panel, a light box beam,  a model surface and base and a document box containing construction drawings and materials samples. This arrangement is reinforced by the surrounding repetition of the prototypical unit that produces an urban portrayal of various objects to form a continuum.
