Westfälisches Museum is one of the most modern archaeological museums in Europe. “Klima und Mensch” has been the largest exhibitions ever on this subject in Germany. What is climate? Impressive backgrounds composed on staggered panoramas and large-scale murals simultaneously illustrate the development of the weather and the respective environmental conditions. The collage, which is made up of real images, graphics, text and painting, evokes wide-ranging associations.
During the exhibition the visitor experiences the survival strategies of its ancestors. Illustrations with light, sound and projection provide an artificial setting for the acquisition of knowledge.
